I have an Associates Degree of Early Childhood Education from Georgia Northwestern  Technical College. In 2013, I graduated from Covenant College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have the GACE for Adapted Curriculum for ESS K-12.

I worked as an ESS Paraprofessional for 13 years at W. L. Swain Elementary until I finished with my Bachelors Degree from Covenant College on Lookout Mt., Georgia. I have been teaching at Ashworth Middle School going on my 4th year. I was awarded the Visionary Award my first year of teaching. The Visionary Award is given for CBI (Community Based Instruction) in our county. After my second year of teaching, I was asked to help present on the topic of CBI/CBVI with Alecia Segursky, ESS Assistant Director of Gordon County, at the IDEA Conference in St. Stimmons.

Hi! My name is Stacey Greeson. I was born and raised in Gordon County and have lived in Calhoun all of my life. I went to the city and county schools as a child growing up. I graduated from Calhoun High School but did not go on to college until later in my life. I'm a single mother of two children, a son, Colby, and a daughter, Kirbi. I have a beauiful granddaughter, Sawyer.  I've worked in carpet mills, outboard motors, and other various places in the county. I quit my job at OMC to spend more time with my children when they were small and decided to sub in the school system. After one year of subbing, I was hired as an ESS paraprofessional at W.L. Swain Elementary where several teachers talked me into going back to school to receive my degree. It took me a few years but I finally graduated in 2013 and now a teacher at AMS!!!
